MORE images and details on the world of Cyberpunk 2077 via the upcoming lore book, details on the main and side quests and a surprising way you can actually finish the game, some district lore this time featuring Heywood, an incredible new trauma team statue with some in-world implications!
First up let’s dive into some very colorful new screens from the World of Cyberpunk 2077 as a German YouTube channel uploaded a brief look at it’s pages since apparently it’s been released there already. Our first new image here is a Kiroshi Optical ad here, with a fighter pilot using a Kiroshi visor on his helmet. Augmentations are shown off here and we have a better look at the gorilla arms and fists.
Kiroshi has yet another advertisement in here, but this is my favorite one because of the parallels it draws to many of the source material augmentations. On the far left we have what seems to be 2077’s version of the mirror shades that are not only iconic of the cyberpunk genre as a whole, but of 2020’s Kiroshi OptiShields as well.
Next we have these Spider-eyes again an evolution of Cyberpunk 2020 in the Bug eye augmentation from the Chromebooks. Now a lot of these augmentations are likely just going to be for in game advertising, and probably won’t be available to the player which I do want to mention. I know we had the taser nipples in a prior episode, and that could again just be for the in world advertising and not something the player can actually get. Far right we have optics with 4 irises and they are tinged red, and to be honest I don’t have a clue what this would be for. My best guess would be that they are likely used for low light situations.
We’ve already talked about this scene showcasing braindance addiction and for this poor guy on the left hand side, he’s so engrossed in whatever he’s doing he’s flat out pissed himself.
Another interesting new detail we get from this overview is the new vehicle manufacturers. We pretty much already know about Yaiba, quadra, archer and thornton., but now we can add mizutani, villefort, chevillon, mahir and makigai to the lineup of vehicles.
The world of Cyberpunk is not just about Night City and the surrounding badlands. The rest of the world is still chugging at their respective paces and it seems like this book will give us context on how the rest of the world is dealing with their own unique circumstances and problems. On this page it mentions that in 2073, airship fuel consumption has tripled to presumably ship plastics to australia.
There’s also an ad for real water, which we have seen in the broll footage that we analyzed as well as a very intimidating picture of Placide. It seems like there is an augmented hyena on the bottom here based on some of the concept arts where it shows Voodooboys keeping hyenas.
Finally your mind is never safe in Night City so we have yet another ad this time showcasing a storage service for the mind, to protect yourself from getting data extracted from you.
Moving on we have some new details via Pawel Sasko in an interview he did with spidersweb. We already know that side-quests can have ripple effects that will effect the main story line, but it seems that in some instances, the main quest doesn’t even need to be completed to actually finish the game.
Moving on check out this new statue on the CDPR gear store featuring the Trauma Team. Interesting thing about this is that if you take a closer look at this detailed statue, you’ll see some 2 important characters from the Cyberpunk Universe. Nadia and Mason who are the main characters in the Trauma Team comic book are both written onto their respective helmets, which are again an indication that these guys are going to be prominent in CDPR’s story telling.
Nadia, an assistant EMT for a privately-owned business known as Trauma Team International, is the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission turned shootout.
After she agrees to continue work for an upcoming extraction mission, Nadia discovers that her new extraction subject is Apex–the man who’s responsible for Nadia’s former team members’ deaths.
Moving on we have a district feature, this time on Heywood via Twitter and the CDPR forums. They describe this district as follows. “Heywood is a district of contrast. In the north, near City Center, you’ll find lush parks and modern skyscrapers towering high above. As you venture further south, however, the views change drastically, with dangerous and unwelcoming slums dominating the scenery more and more. Still, Heywood isn’t all bad even with gangs like Valentinos and 6th Street roaming about – if you know your place and keep your head low, that is.
The districts been dubbed “the biggest bedroom in Night City”. That’s because most of Night City lives here.

New perks and skills, some new screenshots of the Valentinos, new weapon manufacturers and some sexually explicit weaponry, some hints via Xbox on a 2077 related release possibly the next episode of Night City Wire, some more District lore featuring the bustling City Centre, and a few other details I think you are going to want to check out all in today’s Cyberpunk 2077 News and information video!
First up let’s check out some new screenshots from yet another sneak peak of the World of Cyberpunk 2077 Lore book to be released in just around 2 weeks here. We have some brand new images, new weapon manufacturers and some new gang screenshots. On the first page we have my personal favorite element of the bunch the Midnight Lady Accessory cybernetic the taser nipples. Now Midnight lady was a sexual augmentation from the Cyberpunk 2020 source, and we have some details on a related accessory line with the simple slogan of “surprise them.” If you’ve always dreamed of having electric nips, well this is a game for you.
On the next page we have two of the gangs, the Voodooboys and the Valentinos. There is a really cool dreadlock, voodooboy budget Morpheus in the top right with a concept art from the E3 2018 trailer, where in the trailer the V-boys were replaced by Maelstrommers.
On the bottom we have some details about the Valentinos whiuch are not quite legible, and some of their concept are which I know a ton of you are going to be all over. Lots of reds, golds, and crosses with the Valentinos and the guy on the bottom left even seems to have augmented his face to look like a dia de los Muertos skull or even the devil.
On the final page we have some images of the Mox on the top left, which we have seen most recently as well as the adverse effects of what seems to be braindance on the top right. One of the more intriguing elements of this sneap peak comes from the bottom right where we have all the weapon manufacturers in Cyberpunk. We already know about Arasaka who makes the mantis blades amongst a myriad of other items, Militech, Kang Tao whi is famous for the smart rifle, Malorian arms, who makes luxury custom made weaponry, Constituional Arms, as well as Darra and Budget Arms. Being added to the list is Tsunami, which we have covered in a lore video who makes some of the most unique weaponry in the Cyberpunk universe, as well as 4 others, On is a Russian name, the bottom seems to say Rostovic, and above is Nokota. The last one is super hard to tell but might say midnight arms. It’s to be noted Pawel Sasko Lead quest designer mentioned a russsian weapon manufacturer who makes arms strictly for taking on Borgs, which might be who this particular manufacturer is.
Moving on I know a ton of you guys are wondering when the next Night City Wire is, and although Hollie Bennett mentioned a few weeks on the 25th, we still don’t have a concrete date. We have a tweet from Xbox which might indicate a 2077 presence at the Xbox event at the end of the month which falls in line with the couple of weeks mentioned for the next Night City Wire, so we may be seeing Cyberpunk in around 10 days here.
Moving on we have the big kahuna, some amazing details coming from Andre from NightCityLife a german fan site who got some hands on timewith Cyberpunk 2077.
Starting off let’s talk about some of the Character Creator elements that no one else reportet. Amongst the myriad of options Andre mentions that the options for eyes in particular are pretty extensive. You can adjust the color of the iris, how many vessels run in the whites of the eyes, as well as optics and eyeballs with things like heart shapers, skulls, crosses and targets instead of the iris. For those of you who lean more towards dehumanizing your character in terms of augmenting them with a ton of cyberware as you progress in the game, this may be a perfect option for you.
We’ve mentioned pink teeth in prior videos, but no one mentions gold teeth which Andre managed to spot in his playthrough.
I’ve had a ton of question on if V can be a little chubbier or have a bodybuilding physique, or even just be skin and bones, but it seems like due to V being a mercenary, slim or muscular are the only structures we will be allowed to pick for our personal character.
Moving on the attributes will apparently effect dialogue and will open up individual dialogue options. The example given here was that if you have a high tech attribute, you might be able to persuade an IT technician to let you into an office and so one and so forth.
There are 12 skill trees, with Body having 3 branches, reflex having 3, tech hacking two as well as intelligence and cool having two.
Body has trees such as Athletics, Street Brawler and annihilation.

Cyberpunk 2077’s 25 minute gameplay footage is layered with detail and so today we’ll be going over 77 or so things that you missed. Without further ado let’s go through it.
First let’s jump into our favorite part, the gameplay section. As we make our way to a Maelstrom hideout on the edge of the city, we see a new ad. THis says “Sweet, clean speed because life is too short to be slow.” THe music on the radio strikes me as something Nina Kraviz would play and we hear grimes later in the badlands driving sequence so the behind the music artists are here in full effect. Our controls are finally shown on the bottom right using the Xbox Controller. We have sprint, jump, draw weapon and double tap to dodge. Apparently this double tap mechanic was mentioned as pretty awkward in some of the previews, so hopefully that gets rectified.
As we scan the Malestrom ganger on the outside of the crates, we gain access to the NCPD database. This is where you can check the wanted levels and bounties of enemies and is likely tied to some sort of eye upgrade or hacking mechanic to get full access to this. YOu can quick hack enemies or another option tag them for later, which to me sounds like they’d be marked on the map even if you leave.
Now hacking is also heavily tied to our cyberdeck and it’s memory which acts as mana if you are familiar with many fantasy games. THis particular character has 11/11 memory slots to use on the quick hacks. COmms noise to distract for example takes 1 memory unit, overheat to override cybernetics takes 4, pin and breach protocol take 1, and to make the enemies weapon malfunction takes 3.
Detonate grenade is shown in the side window as a tier 3 skill, which takes 2.43 seconds to channel and has a 420 second cooldown. In comparison overheat which is actually used only takes .739 seconds and has a 0 second cooldown. I’d imagine these numbers are still being tweaked, but balancing cyberdeck memory and cooldowns and prioritizing the stronger enemies with these skills is probably pretty essential.
As overheat is used and this gang member burns up, we see our healing inhaler and some grenades on the bottom left, which we end up using both of. The radius of our grenades is shown, similarly to the 48 minute demo so no major changes here.
Whipping out our shotgun, and taking a closer look this is an iconic weapon we have seen before. The Crusher is the pistol sized shotgun used on the Cyberpsycho by the MAXTAC officer in the teaser trailer.
We also auto loot the eddies this guy has on him, And as you can see above the minimap we transition from public to combat to show the player this area is not safe, and that hostiles have probably noticed your presence.
We whip out a rifle known as the Genesis 19:24. Doing a brief google search this is from the bible and the passage reads “Then the lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah – from the lord out of the heavens.” Interesting little easter egg here.
We end up killing the leader, where is says removed MAXDOC Mk3, and we get a boost to our stats and levels.
A little further on there is one more baddie, so we whip out our mantis blades, where it appears we can have a fast attack, a strong attack and the ability to block. Killing the final maelstromer, there is a brief frame where we can loot her as she has a constitutional arms unity, which is likely this pistol, an X-22 flashbang grenade, which we pick up along with a frag grenade. There are likely more variants and styles of grenades as the lore had some pretty interesting ones that I would love to see in 2077.
Now this whole sequence was to rescue a monk who are against implantation, but were being forced to receive cyberware at the hands of the malestom. As we’ve seen in the 48 minute demo and some screenshots, it seems like monks are big targets in this world for forcibly undergoing implantation a stark contrast to the harvesting of cybernetics and organs by the scavengers.
Moving on we have the brief Street Kid Lifepath beginning. At 6:29 we see a timed sequence to gun it as Jackie holds us up because he wants the car you are stealing to himself. TImed sequences are a pretty common occurrence and this was something i really wanted more from in the witcher 3 so its nice to see it become more prevalent.
Officer Stints looks like a familiar face, and for those who don’t recognize him, he is reminiscent of gaunter o dimm aka master mirror from the witcher 3 expansion hearts of stone. In an interview lead quest designer Pavo Sasji was asked on why stints looks like O’dimm to which he responded along the lines of you’ll have to wait and see.
