A very special Cyberpunk 2077 “The Gig” trailer frame by frame analysis for you guys today. If you guys have been with the channel for a while, you’ll know that these are some of my favorite videos to make and I go and pick apart every little thing I can. There are some lifepath spoilers here just incase you haven’t watched the night city wire or have listened to the recent previews, but they are minor. Without further a do let’s get started. We’ll be going over everything from the graphical upgrades from 2018 to 2020 for the game, the relic the chip that housing silverhand, the origins of The Afterlife, the street kid, nomad and corporate lifepath, the moxes, braindance, and all the open world goodies this Cyberpunk trailer has to offer. Let’s begin!

Cyberpunk 2077 – EVERYTHING From Night City Wire! Gameplay, Lifepaths, Previews, Screenshots & MORE!
Night City Wire was CRAZY so today I am going to go over absolutely everything about it from what we saw in the first episode and everything that was announced, to what we will see, to a roundup of previews featuring character creator options, skills, lifepath summaries, mission structures, the open world, gameplay, and technical details from all around the web, as well as show 85 new screenshots and compare what we have seen so far with past demos to show you the graphical upgrades.
First up let’s go over what we saw. This first episode for Night City Wire opened up with The Gig trailer showing off Night City at Night in the rain, and our introduction to the opening scenes of Cyberpunk 2077, depending on your Lifepath which we will get into shortly. I do also want to say that I will be doing an extensive analysis of this trailer this weekend so look out for that. For me this was a 10/10 trailer and the graphical improvements and lighting showcased is quite impressive. This is all in game footage, and some if not all scenes are utilizing RTX. This trailer also shows how we will inevitably get the chip for DeShawn before being shot and betrayed by him left to wake up in a scrapyard. Seems this heist mission goes wrong for Jackie and V. Now the chip seems to be in the possession of Arasaka, who are one of the heaviest hitters in Night City. Definitely my favorite part of the showcase.
This is followed by an about the trailer dive with Pawel Sasko, a commentary on the new feature of Braindance, as well as the announcement of Cyberpunk Edgerunners a Netflix series coming in 2022 from Studio Trigger an acclaimed Japan based animation company. I know very little about anime studios but it seems like fans are incredibly pleased with this. Again I will have a frame by frame analysis of this in the coming days. Everything that they showcased here is also part of the prologues and the first few quests. There was also some exclusive Katana gameplay, I’m not sure that was featured in the NCW, but GameStar somehow got some extra footage, and it looks decent from the 5 or so seconds we can see.
Now with episode 1 out of the way, episode 2 will be coming in just a few weeks as per Hollie Bennet, and the 3rd one will be TBD. It seems there are only 3 slots on the Cyberpunk site, so after that we may get marketing drops in other forms.
Moving on we have our preview roundup. I’ve gone over more than a dozen of these written previews and distilled this down into the nitty gritty of customization, the 3 different lifepaths, the gameplay, the weapons and cyberware , the open world, the mechanics, the technical elements and the overall pros and cons I could glean.
Starting off with the tech side, yes Cyberpunk 2077 will utilize DLS 2.0, which is upscaling technology which will help you push higher frames at the same graphical fidelity. Considering how heavy this game must be based on lighting and the world, this is great news for those who want to play with RTX on and soften the FPS blow. Evidently many of the previews who mention RTX say this is one of the best implementations of it, even over standouts like control and metro exodus….
Next up we have the character creator attributes and skills. The character creator was mentioned at being visibly 3x larger than what we saw in the Deep Dive with 252 individual options from nail length to nipple size to even odd eyes with some previewers mentioning black and white hypno eyes and having the option to not have nipples. There were a reported 6 skin types, 35 hairstyles, 17 eyes, 8 eyebrows, 17 mouths, 17, jaws, 17 ears, 8 bits of cyberware or whats likely surface wiring, 9 types of scars, 9 types of tattoos, 11 piercings, 5 types of teeth with someone mentioning pink chompers, 8 types of eye makeup, 5 bits of lip makeup, 3 blemishes, 3 types of nipples, 5 types of body tatts, 3 types of scars, 2 dick types, 1 vagina option, the option to not have anything, dick size options, and 5 types of pubic hair. One of the journalists mentioned creating a character with a tic tac dick and radioactive green pubes. You could also completely randomize your character.

Cyberpunk 2077 News – HANDS ON Previews In June & More Car Customization?!
A financial call which reveals some interesting tidbits, including a hands on event for Cyberpunk in June, a new screenshot of an AI guided combat cab from prior trailers, Cyberpunk entering its final phase of development and some car customization details that may be present in the game, all in todays Cyberpunk 2077 news!
First up we have a cheeky tweet from CDPR saying “Seriously though, can nobody launch stuff on time anymore? Launch America” in reference to the failed Space X launch on the 27th of May. Obviously Cyberpunk was delayed a while ago, and since then no industry has been safe from delays, including space travel so I guess it is what it is.
Moving on we have a financial call from CDPR relaying some important news. First the Witcher games have sold 50 million copies in total, an incredible milestone and largely due to the prolonged sales of the witcher 3 on all platforms as well as its new switch port.
Sales and net profits for Q1 2020 were the best in the groups history for the first quarter as sales revenues peaked at 193 million Zloty.
When it comes to Cyberpunk, Piotr mentions that the project is drawing to a close, and that they have spent 54 million zloty on the development of new video games and technologies. This might include not only 2077, but Cyberpunk online as well as the pre-development for their next single player title which may be in the Witcher universe.
Piotr cracks a smile when he mentions that they are cooking up something special in place of E3 and reaffirms that Night City Wire will be the event kicking off most of the marketing push. There was also an earning presentation where one of the slides labeled a hands-on event in June 2020. This is likely where media outlets, journalists and influencers will get their hands on the game and start writing and creating content surrounding their impressions, which is really what we are all waiting for. The game looks great so far, but how does it actually play?
Moving on we have an awesome little look at the combat cabb driven by the AI delamain from the 2019 CGI trailer in these brand-new renders. These crystal-clear images really show off some of the finer details like the side leds and wheels that we weren’t able to get a good look at during the high paced trailer. Delamain is the AI who runs this specific combat cab, and will likely bail you out of tricky situations when you are in the pinch.
We also have this post from DucentiTredecim on potential other forms of customization. From top to bottom we have two different types of Quadra V techs, we have the type 66 and its Nomad Wraith equivalent, we have a Thornton truck, we have this 6-wheeler, as well as what seems to be more of a buggy style nomad vehicle. It’s defiantly compelling evidence that car customization is a thing but were going to have to wait for confirmation on this.
Now Ducenti also posted this clearer Nomad and StreetKid lifepath image from the Deep Dive trailer we had a while ago. Nice to see both the Nomad and Street Kid lifestyles up close, since the visual style posters from Cyberpunk are modelled on them, but not exactly the same.
Next up we have the finalists announced for the Cyberpunk PC modding contest and I have to say the ones that they have shown are crazy. This would be a tough choice for me, but I gotta go with the Voodooboys one for the creativity element, even though its not the flashiest.
Drop a comment and let me know your favorite.
Cyberpunk 2077 News – “Reaver” Vehicle, The Badlands & Wraiths + Cyberpunk Red Delay!
Our FIRST look at Cyberpunk 2077’s “Badlands” + what seems to be a customizable Wraith vehicle known as The Reaver! It seems like there is a massive Mad Max styled open world desert beyond the city to explore! Small map who? The graphics and detail are AMAZING!
Also some disappointing news from RTalsorian about a Cyberpunk Red Delay!
Cyberpunk 2077 News – MASSIVE Developer Details via Q&A! (Delays, Next Gen, DLC & Expansions!)
A BIG Q&A via a CDPR investors call, where we learn about if there will be another delay, physical and digital distribution, new updates on next gen versions and a lot more. In addition, we also have the potential of vehicle customization from a CDPR store hint, ESRB ratings, DLC plans, A new gang and its lore, as well as more teases of music to come all in todays Cyberpunk 2077 News episode!
Let’s jump right into the news. First, we have a CDPR Q&A at the end of a financial call laying out CD PROJEKTS 2019 finances, their balance sheet and their numbers. At the end we have a Q&A where investors could phone in to ask questions.
The first question was if there were any elements of the release of Cyberpunk out of CDPRs control, based on current events. CDPR’s representatives maintain that they have obtained a mass majority of the game’s ratings, so there is no risk of not obtaining these ratings in any major markets. This has also been echoed by Adam Badowski on Twitter.
They also do not see physical related launch risks by launching in September. The main issue at the moment is the localization process, as most recording studios are closed. They do have a majority of the voice lines for the localization of other regions, but they are not worried about finishing this up, as worst-case scenario there will be a day one patch for these localizations.
The next questions are regarding the marketing strategy of Cyberpunk now that conferences have been shut down, if there are any insights into physical distribution of the game being affected, and the mobile game from Spokko being developed in collaboration with CDPR.
CDPR responds with that they have been planning a digital strategy to unveil new 2077 facts and elements without relying on these events, and that they are working on smart ways to present to a large volume of people. They have plans for a 100% digital presence, as well as a mix of physical and digital presences and they also add that they have tentative plans from June through September.
The next questions were in respect to the benefits of digital vs physical releases, and if CDPR is worried about the potential pileup of back end releases increasing the competition for Cyberpunk 2077. CDPR responds with that they are not really worried as there will be competition in any time you launch a game, and that they believe they have the must have title that will sell well regardless.
Moving on, apparently just under 600 people in the studio are working on Cyberpunk projects, with some employees being fluid between the single player and multiplayer experience, because they are so interconnected. 40 are in Wroclaw for MP, but the vast majority are on the single player.
When it comes to QA and testing, there are around 130-150 people testing the game right now, which is double what they had for the Witcher.
They mention that there will effectively be two versions for the Series X. They have the enhanced version, which will be able to be played at launch, as well as the fully upgraded next gen version which will come post launch of the Series X.
If you guys remember CDPR tweeted that each Xbox One Cyberpunk 2077 purchase will be able to be upgraded to the next gen version for free. It seems that there are two, so I’m not sure if both will be free going forward or just the base enhanced one, but only time will tell.
Amazing new details here, and since I have been getting a ton of concern about another delay, well there you have it, they are confident in a September release despite everything.
Now there was another detail in the Q&A, which I must have missed, and although I did listen to the entire 55 minutes, and checked others notes on the topic I didn’t see / hear this note, but VGC caught a fact from Adam Kicinski where he mentioned Cyberpunk 2077 will have no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had. He also mentioned that on announcement timing, expect a similar scenario to the Witcher 3 where they announced DLC in the months prior, and expansions in the weeks prior to release.
Moving on we have this new lore tidbit from a new gang revealed called the Mox. Now I showed this off on my last news episode, but at the time I was editing, CDPR released a synopsis of this gang as well. According to the information, this gang was formed in 2076 after the death of Elizabeth “lizize” borden, a strip club owner and ex-prostitute who treated workers fairly and defended them from violent clients. The mox refer to themselves as those who protect working girls and guys from violence and abuse. Now we also saw the Lizzies graffiti tied into the Behind The Music trailer, and we have Lizzy Wizzy as a rockergirl popstar in the world, and now we have Elizabeth Lizzie Borden as the symbolic leader of the gang, with a logo of what looks like Lizzy Wizzys logo. Super confusing, although in my mind there is probably a correlation here somehow.
Cyberpunk 2077 News – Tyger Claws & Steel Dragons, “Wake Up Samurai”, Pondsmith Reveals Character?
A new gang poster hinting at one known and one unknown gang in Cyberpunk 2077 and their potential story implications, some miscommunication about an alleged hands on preview of Cyberpunk 2077, Mike Pondsmith revealing details on the 2077 timeline in the form of a character from the lore, if “Wake up samurai” will actually be tied into the game itself, and more in todays Cyberpunk 2077 News and information episode!
First off, we have some corrections issued by Gameranx when it comes to hands on previews of Cyberpunk 2077. In a most recent top games of 2020 video, a member of the Gameranx team mentioned that Jake Baldino had played Cyberpunk 2077 at one point and mentioned that there were positive impressions about it. This caused some buzz online and some speculation as to if the hands-on previews of Cyberpunk 2077 were around the corner, after late last year President & CEO of CD PROJEKT Adam Kicinski mentioned a strong dose of information about Cyberpunk 2077 in the form of hands on previews would be shared in early 2020.
Evidently this was an error in the video, and Baldino has taken to twitter to rectify this, so it seems like the wait will continue for hands on previews of Cyberpunk 2077, where we will learn how the game actually feels in the hands of game journalists, and media outlets.
Next up we have some big hints about the game in the form of Night City Gang Poster Art. If you guys are familiar with Michal Dziekan, he has done many of the gang posters that are featured on the CD PROJEKT RED Store, which are by the way 20% off right now. The Maelstrom and the Valentinos have been featured on these posters so far, but it seems like he’s currently working on a Tyger Claws poster at the moment judging by his Instagram.
The Tyger Claws are a gang in 2020 and 2077 and have allegedly turned from a defensive combat booster gang, to a gang who uses its fair share of cyberware, bikes and katanas and have strong ties to Arasaka. Obviously, the Tiger is their logo, which can be seen in the bottom half with a gang member riding a yaiuba kusanagi. On the top however, we have a dragon.
Now the Steel Dragons are Yorinobu Arasakas gang consisting of Tokyo Nomads, who in the lore of Cyberpunk oppose Arasaka for their vile corporate operations. Yorinobu hates Arasaka after being born into the family and uncovering their truths. The poster shows what could be the two gangs clashing over territory, which would make sense lore-wise. At this point it’s a strong point of speculation that we will see Yorinobu and the Tokyo Nomads aka The Steel Dragons in the game.
Now In the same vein, Mike Pondsmith has taken to reddit, as he seems to do from time to time, to reveal more about Cyberpunk 2020, red and 2077. In a post he lays out a RP scenario he used to run called “Michiko’s Night Out” which involved the granddaughter of Saburo Arasaka leaving the compound on her 18th birthday in the company of her personal bodyguard Solo Kenichi Zaburo. While out barhopping, she runs into cyborg solo Adam Smasher, leading to some explosive results. As he continues, he likens Michiko to a cross between battle angel alita and a mad girl genius and mentions that we will meet an older Michicko in the full Cyberpunk Red release, and that she might show up in 2077 since she continues to exist in that timeline. It seems like we could be adding another Lore based character to the 2077 roster.
Next up we have details about the second most infamous Keanu / Silverhand quote so far. “Wake up samurai” has become a favorite line of those who have been following Cyberpunk 2077, but it seems like this dialogue between the player and Johnny might be confined to just the CGI Trailer for Cyberpunk. Via CDPR’s Community Manager Lilayah, we learn that this line is a phrase from the CGI trailer, not from the game so you probably won’t hear him mention these exact words.
Now we’ve talked a lot about the World of Cyberpunk 2077 lore book in the past, as well as the recently announced deluxe edition, but we’ve had some poor images so far to work with. We mentioned that yes there are temporary tattoos featured in the deluxe edition that show us the main gangs, some of which we didn’t know about before in the Mox and 6th street, but now we have a clearer image, featuring The Animals, The Voodooboys, The Valentinos, 6th Street, The Maelstrom, The Mox, Tygers Claw, and presumable one more hiding behind the first page. This could be the Wraiths mentioned on the back of the book, a subfaction of the violent rogue Nomad Nation the Raffen Shiv.
We also have a clearer image of the new vehicles, and 2 more car manufacturers in night City. We knew about Quadra and Thorton in our prior inspections, but now we have Archer, which represents the Entropism visual style, and Rayfield which represents the upper echelon neo-kitsch visual style.

Cyberpunk 2077 – ACPA & Power Armor Weapons! (Lore!)
Just like the actual flesh and bone Edgerunners and Cyberpunks in the world of Cyberpunk, ACPAs have a large variety of weapons too.
In Today’s Cyberpunk 2077 Lore video we will be talking more specifically about ACPA weapons and types and styles of weapons that are equippable on ACPAs.
Starting with melee weapons we have the heavy bladed weapons, including axes and swords which can not be wielded effectively by an unpowered human. Some carry these ACPA blades as a mark of distinction or honor, and these blades have the ability to penetrate hard and soft armors. The most common model of bladed weapons is the trooper sword, which sports a classic medieval crusader design. It weighs more than several times that of a normal sword but is still just as sharp as say a good combat knife.
Heavy blunt weapons are very similar but are made at a lower quality production and have less potential for armor piercing as its bladed counter-part weapons.
Large power saws which sport a powered disk or chain saw with very sharp hardened allow teeth and retractable mono swords which are lighter than trooper swords and retractable are also options for ACPAs looking to up their hand to hand and brawly combat potential.
Next, we have machine guns and heavy rifles, which have become the standard primary weapons in ACPA combat in 2020 and can wound a trooper in armor with a well-placed shot.
Most rifles can be enclosed on the arms, or external on the arms or torso as well as being two handed. For external or carrying options, you can also choose to protect it with armored pods or housing units.
The 12.7 mm HMG is a vehicular heavy machine gun, whilst the 13.9mm rifle is a rare rifle based on a .55 caliber anti-tank weapon used between the world wars called the Boys AT-Rifle.
The 14.5 mm KPV is a massive machine gun and one of the most devastating anti-ACPA weapons ever used. Featuring a high ROF, this weapon was the largest machine gun made by the Russians and originally mounted on vehicles.
The 12.7mm Gatling gun is a weapon usually mounted onto AVs and Helicopters whose multi-round penetration can drop most suits of powered armor.
The EMG-85 4mm Railgun has immense power requirements but cannot be matched in its penetration and firepower.
Experimental weapons are typically used in ACPAs due to the nature of their exotic design and functionality, and although Beam weapons are limited to primarily space use, there are a couple that function great on ACPAs.
A painting laser can be used to sport for laser-guided weaponry, which comes in handy for other units on the battlefield. We also have the Meta-Armson “Photon” Assault Cannon, the first combat laser weapon to see field use. Power is provided by a backpack superconductor battery and damage here can be varied by adjusting the amount of power used.
Next, we have scatter-packs which are light weight weapons which use explosive charges to fire an area-filling cone of ammo. These have tremendous recoil and the widths of these munition cones can vary from weapon to weapon. There are also special restrictions on firing scatter packs and firing one in a location not recognized in a militarized zone can lead to a suspension and investigation of the trooper or soldier behind it.
Some examples of scatter packs are the BRP battledress Ripple Flechette pack, which holds clusters of explosive charges in separate tunes which can be fired simultaneously in a 60 degree cone, BFCWA Flechetter Clouds, which fire needle projectiles in a wider cone, and the BIM Minelets volley, which sends a 60 degree cone of mini mines, to damage infantry unfortunate enough to walk over them.
Second to heavy rifles, ACPA- portable cannons are often used on the PA battlefield. The 20mm Rifle is the most common, but options like the 27-30 mm autocannon, the EMG-83 improved railgun, and the 75mm recoilless cannon are options here.
Rockets & missiles are the true heavy arms which are mainly strapped onto Aerial vehicles and helicopters and have extreme destructive capabilities perfect for full military operations. All these weapons require some sort of targeting capabilities. The IFAR is a folding fin aerial rocket and has been in use since the Korean conflict.
The Law 3 is an anti-tank system designed to punch through armor and is one of the more common types of rockets when it comes to power armor. The Light anti-tank guided missile is massively larger.

Cyberpunk 2077 – ACPAs & Power Armor! (Lore!)
Today we are talking about ACPAs or Assisted Combat Personnel Armor, some of the styles, how they operate, their weaponry and uses in Cyberpunk 2020 and potentially Cyberpunk 2077.
Powered Armor as defined in the Heavy Artillery sourcebook is a combat environment suit which 1 has been augmented with rigid or semi rigid composite plates of armor and 1 assists the wearer in carrying its own considerable bulk, and that of the various weapon and utility devices through some sort of powered assist.
With the introduction of Power Armor, a new category of professional Solos began to gain momentum, who could be compared to the brute jet-fight pilots who are well versed in their heavy artillery and equipment. These Solos were called Troopers, with a special ability called Combat Sense like regular Solos but specialized for ACPAs.
Powered Armor have a large array of weaponry and can fit into one of three categories in Smart-Linked, Targeted or Guided.
Smart Linked ranged weapons are machine guns, portable cannons and other simple projectiles, targeted ranged weapons have parabolic trajectories without guidance systems like unguided rockets and propelled grenades, and guided ranged weapons are luxuries on the battle field that virtually assure a successful hit by locking on, such as anti-vehicle and air missiles.
Next let’s jump into the components of what makes up an ACPA and how it’s integral to the Trooper on the battlefield.
Power Armor became feasible with the birth and development of the linear frame, a metal and plastic scaffold of synthetic musculature and rigid supports.
With traditional linear frames not being strong enough for ACPAs, and with R&D teams envisioning the ability for troopers to be able to run, rip open doors and carry heavy artillery, they needed an incredible strong frame. In a rare collaboration Militech and Orbital Air developed an extremely light weight frame made of a crystalline poly-nucleotide lattice and plastisteel fibre.
The quality and composition of armor plates found in PA suits worldwide vary.
All ACPA suits are considered watertight down to 30m and have a filter / rebreather system that allows for 1 hour of sealed operation. They are driven by a fuel cell that allows them to operate for 24 hours straight, although they can be replaced in the field. Pilots and troopers wear skintight, low-friction bodysuits which act as cooling garments, and the ACPA itself requires the wearer to have interface plugs with a vehicle link in his processor.
A suit’s reality interface is integral to the function of the unit. This makes armor combat look a lot like netrunning. Its usually placed in the helmet, and the simplest implementation of this is the aperture-based reality interface. This relies on openings in the helmet protected by projectile resistant glass or plastic but leads to the same vision restrictions as a medieval knight.
Enhanced aperture adds additional lenses and auditory receptors to the suit, to improve peripheral vision and wideband aperture enhances upon this by adding smart targeting and adjusting lenses to help again with peripheral vision.
Full-HUD Wideband adds automatic targeting and an acquisition system whilst environment calculating integrated wideband HUD adds computer power for the trooper to interpret the geometry of the terrain.
Virtual Reality interfaces are the best and interpret the environment for pilot with sophisticated graphics and auditory warning. This is where Troopers and Netrunners are effectively one in the same in how they use their interfaces.
ACPAs also have reflex and control systems that regulate how the Trooper interacts with the outside world via his neural interface plugs and vehicle link. From basic control which is essentially the full range of human motion to high boost to command and control computers which allow increased neuromuscular function and highly automated actions to occur respectively.
ACPAs are equipped with auto-doctors which are automated medical systems to help improve a Trooper’s combat survivability. Examples from lowest tier to highest include the RussianArm KwikFix, the Arasaka Monitor, The Bodyweight Medic, the Militech Repeater and the Orbital Air prime.
Safety systems are also integral for ACPAs and escape hatches are on most units. Self-sealing compressors, food and filtration systems, extended power cells and life support are seen in some ACPAs depending on what they are being used for.
Power Armours are also equipped with audio visual means of communication including satellite uplinks, cell phones, radio links, scramblers, laser communicators, thermal targeting, image enhancement, radar and more.
When it comes to movement ACPAs can climb using sets of blades similar to wolvers, and fly using jets, gliders or Flyer wings. They can also skate around at high speeds and utilize an underwater jet to use at depth.
