VALORANT Closed Beta Review – Is This Addictive Combo Enough To Set It Apart?

I’ve been really looking forward to seeing how RIOT’s foray into First person shooters and if it can match the prestige of League of Legends in the FPS space ever since it was announced as Project A many months ago. I’ve had my hands on it for over a week now, have tested out all the maps, weapons and most of the heroes, and feel like I have a good grasp on the closed beta, how it will evolve and things that I love and don’t love about it.

Although Valorant is a great 5v5 tactical shooter, and I’m currently addicted to it mostly due to the steep learning curve, it doesn’t quite hit the high notes that Overwatch and CS have reached, at least not yet.
