Borderlands 3, Doom Eternal Are The Cheapest We’ve Seen In This Deal Of The Day

Best Buy has just kicked off its latest Deal of the Day, which features two fantastic shooters that released in the last year. Borderlands 3 is currently $13, while Doom Eternal is $35. This deal is available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Borderlands 3, while Doom Eternal’s sale price is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions–unfortunately, Doom Eternal has not yet made its way to the Nintendo Switch. As a Deal of the Day, you have less than 24 hours to take advantage of this sale, but the best deals tend to sell out even sooner, so we don’t recommend waiting long. Borderlands 3 marked the return to the beloved series after five years. It received an 8/10 in GameSpot’s Borderlands 3 review for its visually distinct settings and the welcome variety between the four different classes. Critic Jordan Ramee was positive overall on his experience with Borderlands 3, though he did lament the loot-shooter’s reliance of bullet-sponge bosses.

“Borderlands 3 has a few stumbling blocks when it comes to bosses, but these fights are overshadowed by the game’s rewarding gunplay and over-the-top humor,” he wrote. “The game’s character-driven narrative acts as a satisfying finale for the loot-shooter franchise, and the new mechanics and features–especially the reworked skill trees and weapon manufacturer effects–give you plenty of agency in how you want to play through it.”
