With Microsoft leaning into its Game Pass subscription more than ever, you might be tempted to skip out on buying any more games for your Xbox One. But you don’t technically own the games on the service, which means if you really want to keep a game around long-term, you may want to actually buy it when it’s on sale. Luckily, Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2019 are next week, and the long sales weekend will see tons of discounts on the console’s best games.
We expect a large number of Xbox One games will be marked down, and with retailers releasing their ads so early this year, we have a good idea which games will be on sale. We’ve already seen recent releases like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (as low as $38) and Need For Speed Heat ($30) get Black Friday price cuts, and we may even see discounts on upcoming games like Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Shenmue III–at the very least, we’ll probably see them bundled with special bonuses. According to early Black Friday ads, some games released at the beginning of 2019 will be available for sub-$20 prices (their lowest yet), including Resident Evil 2, The Division 2, and Kingdom Hearts III.

While not always as cheap as the physical versions you’ll find during Black Friday, those looking for downloadable games have a ton of options, including the full Assassin’s Creed series, Sekiro, and more.
