Today’s video is going to be pretty awesome, because we are going to be looking at the potential weapons in Cyberpunk 2077.

First we have melee type weapons, which gain bonus damage based on body type in the original 2020 game. If cyberpunk lets you fully customize your character I’m sure there will be different damage modifiers based on the equipment you are wearing, or even your body type if that’s available to change.

For basic melee weapons we have the Club, knife, sword, axe, nunchucks, naginata, shuriken, switchblade, brassnuckles, sledgehammer, and chainsaw.

Next up we have advanced melee weapons which include, a survival knife, entrenching tool, Excalibur night stick in both mace and taser styles, an IMI “Chainknife”, Powersword, Mono-Two, Monokatana and Monoknife as well as a Monosword cane, Monowhip, Spring knife, Nunchaku, Smartwhip, Battleglove, Spawnblade and a Utility Machete.

There’s two extra descriptions on the Cyberpunk Wiki with one about to the Kendachi monoknife, and the other about Mystic technologies Nunchaku/Blade.

The Monoknife is an “incredibly sharp, mono-sectional crystal blade. Produced in the Japanese tanto style”.

Tanto which in japanese means “short sword” is a style of knife that is renowned for its strength, and durability.

The Nunchaku is essentially a pair of nunchucks with blades on the end which you can use to slice and dice enemies.

Next up we have archery bows. These are bows that are drawn back and held and fired with a straight pull.

The bows in the 2020 universe are the arms half bow, the bearcat self-bow, the tigercat compound bow, the tomcat compound bow and the wildcat sport bow.

The Arasaka half bow refers to a recurve short bow that can be taken apart into two halves, and is made out of scanner resistant composities.

A Recurve bow is one with limbs that curve away from the archer when unstrung, just to give you a better idea what it may look like.

Compound bows have all the fancy scopes and attachments and a sport bow and self-bow fall somewhere between the compound and recurve.

Next up are the cousins of the archery bows, the crossbows. Crossbows are either cocked by the user, or cocked mechanically, utilizing a winch or other device to drag the string back into position.

Here we have similar names to the regular archery bows like the Eagletech arbalest crossbow, the handbow crossbow, the scorpion crossbow, the stryker cross bow and the nomad hand crossbow.

The arbalest crossbow is an exotic 60-kilo pull bow cocked by using a built in winch. Characters with a cyberarm and internal bracings can reload the bow manually increasing its Rate of fire. The bow is quite large with 50% more bulk than an assault rifle.

Next up we have my favorite subset of weapons called Exotics. Some of these are incredibly unique so let’s go down the list and check some them out.

For exotics we have weapons like the Apex mobile point defense system, the arasaka “Nausteator” riot control device (which sounds fucking awesome), the arasaka restrain caster, the WXA computer aimed weapon, AKM power squirt which is a drug type weapon, laser cannon, arrow gun, wombat airpistol, boomerang pneumatic bolt gun, Petrochem “drug a thug”, incorporated beanbag gun, Skunker, microwaver, air-hammer and the mini missle.

All of these sound super unique and I hope that lots of these are incorporated in 2077.

Next we have the pleuthora of Handguns in the Cyberpunk universe starting with the Light Handguns.

For the light handguns we have the styl-6, the c-13, the cybermag 15, the impact, the x22, the x-38, and the type 12 police pistol.

The budget arms c-13 isa light autopistol and is referred to as “lady’s gun” on the official wiki.

The dai lung cybermag 15 is also a light autopistol but is a cheap hong kong knockoff, often used by boosters and other street trash.

The federated arms x22 is another light autopistol but theyre referred to as the “polymer-one-shot” and are available in different colors.

For medium handguns we have the WSA autopistol, c-41, Laser-niner, m97P, CM-3, Omega competition pistol, enforcement 10 sidearm, street master, “3-spot” machine pistol, X-9mm, gun 9, Taurus pistol, glock thirty machine pistol, m-11 bolt pistol, gamad, typ-97, maxi-10, avenger, black widow flechette pistol, magnum autoloader and revolver, starrier 4, tri star revolver, p-41 autoloading pistol, st-2 pistol, surprising stranger, teen dream,typ-13 and 14 police pistols, tsunami express racegun and the wondernines.

The arasaka WSA autopistol is the standard issue sidearm for all Arasaka troops as well as executives who want to pack a little punch.

The dai lung streetmaster is a larger version of the cybermag 15.
Militech arms avenger is a well-made autopistol with good range and accuracy.
