Cyberpunk 2077 Lore – The Gangs & Nomads Of Night City & The Badlands!

The surge in the sheer increase in the number of Gangs and organized crime has mainly come about due to the devastating economic, political and environmental landscape in the Cyberpunk age. With rampant poverty, and the giant chasm between the poor and the economic elite, gangs have emerged as a result of loss of jobs, identity and hope. Many gangs aggregate as a result of their aligned goals, morals and values or lack thereof.

Some gangs have let the depravity in the world seep into their MO, and will loot, kill and siphon any resources Night City has left to offer, whether that be eurodollars or tech. Many will also attempt to monopolize districts and underground industries, and will not take kindly to any entity, corp or otherwise on their turf.

Others have more blurry motives and are largely shrouded in mystery. Regardless, gangs are now deeply entrenched in 2077’s society and Night City is teeming with all sorts of underground groups each with their own unique goals and methodologies.

In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 lore, we explore the Gangs and Nomads of Night City and the Badlands!
