Cyberpunk 2077 News – Cyberpunk Red & 2077 Timeline, RTalsorian & LARP!

In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk news we are talking about a new Cyberpunk Red FAQ which gives us details about the connection between Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk Red, Some Countdown to the Dark Future episodes highlighting references CDPR has made to 2020 in Cyberpunk 2077, an IGN Article featuring 2077 details, Some Timeline clarification from Mike Pondsmith and an officially sanctioned LARP event for those of you into live action role play and immersive lore experiences.

Starting off the news we have a new IGN Article about Cyberpunk 2077 coming from IGN Brazil which reveals a few more details about the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Although most of the article is a repetition of what we’ve already heard before, there are some interesting facts. Mateus Tomaskiewicz was interviewed for this one, and in a statement made about his work as a mission director for 2077 says

“It is largely a quality control position, but I believe one of the most interesting responsibilities is to review the game frequently and ensure that the missions do not conflict or contradict another in their Implementation” “There are a lot of dependencies between missions, especially on main story missions. We try hard to have missions that intertwine and compliment each other organically”. He later mentions in regards to the world of 2077 that “it’s a dystopian vision of the future, but gives us an opportuntiyy to play with various themes. We can play on serious subjects and show a distorted mirror of our current social problems. On the other hand, you have a myriad of art styles – a mixture of flamboyant advertisements, colorful communities, stylish bodies, insane gangs and so on.”

Next we have a Cyberpunk Red FAQ released and updated by the creators of 2077’s source material RTalsorian games. These are the guys who created the original pen and paper Cyberpunk 2020. As you guys already know Cyberpunk Red will help bridge the gap between the events of Cyberpunk 2020 and 2077.

Does Cyberpunk red take place in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2020 and 2077? Yes. RTalsorian and CD PROJEKT RED have worked together on a common timeline for the original Cyberpunk in Cyberpunk 2013 to Cyberpunk 2020 to Cyberpunk Red to Cyberpunk 2077.

When in the timeline does Cyberpunk Red take place? Cyberpunk Red takes place between the end of the 4th Corporate War (2022) and 2077.

What is Cyberpunk Red’s Relationship to Cyberpunk 2077?
Red will show the Cyberpunk world in a period of rebuilding following the 4th corporate war.

When will Cyberpunk Red be released. We’re aiming for August 1 release but that will change if we aren’t read.

What formats will Cyberpunk Red be available in? It will be in a full color hardcover book and a full color PDF in digital form. They’ve also commissioned new artists and say that the illustrations will be on par with any modern RPG.

Next we have some Countdown to the dark future details from again RTlasorian games. These help tell the story of the Cyberpunk lore and narrative and this week is super important as they are showcasing 2020’s influences in 2077.

In episode 121 we have comparisons from the Cyberpunk 2020 cover to a cyberpunk 2077 wallpaper featuring female V.

In episode 122 we have the Raven Microcyberenetics Spider Microwaldo Bracer from Chromebook 3 of the Cyberpunk 2020 source material.

In episode 123 we look at some potential inspiration for the Samurai Logo by looking at the Pacific Rim sourcebook.

In episode 124 we see the Air hypo from Cyberpunk 2020 and it’s equivalent in Cyberpunk 2077 as we use it to clear the airway for Sandra Dorsett.

episode 125 features how the logo for Silverhand Studios from Chromebook 1, a husing project owned by Silverhand has been reformatted into the cover of a 2077 Silverhand album cover.

In episode 126 we have the comparisons between AV-3 Aerocop from Chromebook 3 to the Police aerodyne from the Cyberpunk 2077 teaser tailer.

In episode 127 we see the verticality of the world being present in 2077 after it’s representation in 2020.

Finally we have some details about an officially sanctioned Live action role play event featuring Cyberpunk and Night City.

Cyberpunk : Night City is a Live action role playing event created by Jackalope studios and in collaboration with RTalsorian Games. The event will take place on memorial day weekend (Which is may 24th and May 25th) and will transform a portion of San Antionio, Texas into the open air market of Carter Street in Night City, California. The Bespoke-style LARP takes place after the end of the 4th corporate war. While not an official part of the timeline, Jackalope has worked with Mike Pondsmith to be as accurate as the format allows. That means that Cyberpunk Night City LARP will provide the first glimpses into the possibilities of the upcoming new edition Cyberpunk Red.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Mini Games & Side Activities!

In Today’s Cyberpunk 2077 video we are going to be talking about potential mini games and Side activities that will be available in Night City and in Cyberpunk 2077. Some of these side-quests have more credibility of showing up in 2077 and some will be more of what I think would fit and will be more speculation than anything.

The main attraction of Cyberpunk 2077 will most definetly be the main story and side quests, but I can imagine due to the narrative and heavy nature of the world of Cyberpunk 2077, we will likely need to diffuse with some more mind numbging arcadey mini-games as a break from hunting down corporates and prolific gangs.

First we have the potential for Boxing, MMA fighting and street fights. We’ve talked about this a bunch before, but boxing and MMA seem to be the main sport in night city with it all over the worlds screens, and how often we see people training on these robotic punching bags in the world. Boxing and fist fighting was also in The Witcher 3 as also mentioned before, so this style of melee combat may be something CDPR is comfortable with. This is also something that can weave nicely into the violent world of the Cyberpunk lore.

Next we have Braindance, which could possibly be something much larger than mere side activities, but can also be something to do in the privacy of your own apartment based off our initial viewings. Braindance would open up an infinite amount of psossibilites as Braindance allows you to live out your wildest dreams as a sort of sanctioned hallucinatory experience. Braindance bars and shacks are present in the lore, so maybe we can stop in at one of these to indulge in the myriad of possibilities it offers. Do take note that Braindances seem to be advertised on posters that have a “BD” in one of the corners.

Next we have bar games such as pool and darts. In the Trailer we see an augmented pool table and in a frame by frame series episode it is also mentioned as being retrofitted with technology. I can see a variety of bar games being present as mini-games and competing against NPCs within these. These mini-games would be your standard run of the mill bar activites such as slots and gambling, drinking, smoking and previously mentioned pool and maybe air hockey. There would likely be a high stakes Cyberpunk spin to it, so I hope if they go this route with it. You can bet your eddies or cybernetic enhancements in the hopes of stripping everyone in the bar dry.

I can also see a mini game pitting you against Jackie or other NPCs in who can pick up the most dates or one night stands at these bars.

We also have more traditional sports like Basketball as seen in the trailer, and some of the Cybersports present in the Cyberpunk genre as a whole. Rollerball from Alita seems like it would be a neat option, and obviously all these sports would have athletes with augmnets and cyberware which makes them more physically impressive and the sports themselves could be much more of a bloodbath.

BattleBots or an underground robot fighting league would be my personal addition to the game. If you guys have seen the Netflix series Love Death and Robots first Episode Sonnies Edge or Movies lIke big hero 6 you can kind of extrapolate on these concepets and kind of see what I’m talking about. Drones are a huge element of Night City. being able to use ones to defeat others and collecting their scraps for our crafting ability would be a nice addition.

Ofcourse they could go with the approach of having a card game like Gwent as NEteunner is a similar card game that’s license was not extended, and although CDPR have somewhat denied the prospect of having Netunner specifically, that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have something similar.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Night Clubs, Bars & Alcohol! (Lore!)

In Today’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk lore video we are diving into the bars and clubs in night city, with ones that are present in the world of 2077 and some of the bars and clubs that originate in the source material and their elaborate backstories. We are also going to touch on some of the alcoholic beverages and types of alcohol being served in these dingy dark watering holes.

Bars and Clubs are both places that are prominent in the world of Night City, from mercenary, soldier and fixer frequented locations to strip joints to non stop neon raves.

Most restaraunts, bars and nightclubs are licenced to serve legal beverages, poppers, sniffers, crystals and brainstims during business hour. The legal age of indulgence in Night City is 18 with IdentiCard proof.

First lets look at the drinks served in the bars of Night City.

First we have the Silverhand which is a shot of vodka mixed with brandy and a few drops of superfuel of the future CHOOH2, as they call it in the 2077 demo.

The Nomad Specialist is Jack Daniels with a greay nut thrown in to add that “metallic” taste nomads are so fond of.

The Killer is a popular drink among the Corpzoner set. The purchaser of the drink is given 5 small metal hoops to toss at a lineup of drinks behind the bar. The barkeep mixes all the ones hooped into one lethal concoction.

The Night City is only served in some of the more “unwholesome” bars within City limits. It’s a mixture of tequila, raw wood alcohol, and several drops of turpentine garnished with a dead worm.

The blood razor is named after the infamous gang and is a mixture of red wine, brandy, red food coloring and cherry soda. It’s garnished with a chicken bone and looks like human blood.

The Armageddon is one of the deadliest drink on tap at the moment and is only served at the Totentanz.

The braindance is Popular among edgerunners. the Braindance is a mixture of raw alcohol and citrus juices.

The SoCal special is a mixture that is 90% water and 10% anything else.

The sea breeze is A non-fatal, pleasant mixture of white wine and a bit of lemon juice.

The ripper is a hard liquor drink that is popular around Rockers and Chromers.

The Euro is a drink imported from France, and is gaining popularity with the corporate rich.

The first bar we have is Club Atlantis which was actually featured in the E3 2018 Cyberpunk 2077 booth. This club is the favorite hangout for corpzoners and street soldiers between assignments.

The Afterlife is a bar heavily referenced in Cyberpunk 2077. It has three different ares in the Antechamber, The Crypt and Hades which are all inhabited by the most hardened solos.

Next is the Hacienda located in the Charter hill district, which is a small section of the city between the crowded streets of Little China and the sludge-slicked waters of Del Coronado Bay.

On the top three floors of the Burleson Tower in City Centre is the Totentanz a poorly supervised club where Boostergangs members tend to hang out in.

The Grand Illusion is one of the most popular rock clubs on the West coast. If features 3 bars and a dance floor.

Hababas is in the same Night City district and was a respectable biker bar, but is now the favorite spot for the Voodoboys.

L’etranger located in the corporate centre is a fancy bar with a continental European theme, frequented by white collar security and late night grinder corporate up and comers.

Next we have The Slammer. From modest beginnings as a punk rock club, The Slammer has become so popular that it has expanded drastically over the years. The arena is the main attraction of the bar and is used to settle disputes between gangs free of charge.

Next we have the Metalstrom club. This club caters to the most extreme chromatic rock tastest and blends a concert hall with a rock bar.

Next we have Café Chrome, a bar with 50’s décor where Corporates come to discuss business during the day, and rocker crowds and young adults come to party at night.

The Night Owl is a bar located at the top of the Bay Bridge Resiential Hotel. It is one of the only bars that never closes.

The Short Circuit is a netrunner bar located in the Barbican Building. It has a rotating floor allowing its patrons to see the city below.

We also have the Black hole which is technically not in Night City but instead in Earths Orbit on the Crystal Palace orbital habitat.

Next we have the Forlorn Hope which is a bar located inbetween Night City’s Downtown and the combat Zone.

Below Deck is our first 2077 exclusive club on the list and is referenced as an under-water themed club in Night City that was opened in a former aquarium.

Finally we have Riot.

Cyberpunk 2077 News – “Quite Different” Game Change, 100 Million Pay Out & CD PROJEKT RED!

In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 news we’ll be discussing a new interview which reveals a ton of details, including Cyberpunk 2077 being vastly different from it’s E3 2018 build, Some new release date forecasts based off of CD PROJEKT RED’s stock forecasts and their plans for a incredibly large shareholder payout, Mike Pondsmith and the RTalsorian crew visiting CDPR for some low-key Cyberpunk business, Cyberpunks influences from some stand out RPGs which you have likely heard of or played, Gunplay mechanic details, easter eggs, some new design hires as well as some countdown to the dark future details highlighting lethal melee weapons.

Moving on to the Cyberpunk 2077 news section we first have a new Spanish interview from AreaJugones where they interview Cyberpunk 2077 quest director Mateus Tomasczkiewicz whete they learned some incredibly deep details.

In a question asked about how different the game is to the gameplay demo shown in 2018, Mateus responds that there wasn’t a clearn picture of how the game fits into an open world or the larger image of the game at that point. There was a ton of things they didn’t show yet, and they are still working on things. He goes on to add that he would say that the game is pretty different to what they showed last year, but with many details still being in motion.

The next question was if there was any pressure to connect the characters in Cyberpunk 2077 to the audience in the same way as
Geralt and Ciri were for the witcher games. Mateus responds with that they’ve made some big efforts on this and that there will be some very meaningful characters which the public will remember.

In a question about easter eggs in Cyberpunk 2077, Mateus responds with “That they currently have some in mind, but it would be difficult to say how many since they are mostly implemented near the launch of the game.

Next in the interview Mateus was asked a variety of questions about the gunplay mechanics and combat system. Whilst he mentions that Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG first and foremost, he also mentions that there are more ways to progress and complete quests and that they have a good amount of mechanics that are based on this concept that they haven’t showed yet. Mateus also mentions that the game will feature a wide range of weaponry. Based off of this, I think we are going to see some of the stealth and hacking mechanics more in depth in the coming months as well as some new tech weapons.

In terms of actualy gunplay he also states that Cyberpunk 2077s combat cannot be compared to something like Borderlands or Bulletstorm and that you will need to take cover and can’t just jump around to avoid enemies. He does mention however that if you are using a katana or a melee weapon, gameplay tends to become slightly more arcadey and brawley.

In terms of inspirations Mateus notes that some of the big ones were the Deus Ex series, The Elder scrolls series and Vampire Bloodlines mainly due to how much possibility each of these titles offer.

Next we have some information with big release window implications. According to this polish economics website, CD PROJEKT will pay out 100.9 million Zwo-te which equates to 93% of their profits in 2018. Companies generally like to do this when they are about to have a surge in revenue or can stabilize themselves with sales, and this is further evidenced by some analysts growth expectations chart that shows a surge in earnings starting at 2020.

Now why is this relevant? Because a surge in revenue and earnings would likely be tied to a Cyberpunk 2077 release. Again this has big implications and the financial site even claims the premiere of 2077 is near.

Next we have news about Mike Pondsmith and the RTalsorian team visiting the CD PROJEKT RED studio recently. RTlasorian makes the source material of 2077 in Cyberpunk 2020 and 2013, so it’s interesting that they chose now of all times to visit the studio. It’s known that they’ve gone to discuss Cyberpunk 2077 and their Witcher pen and paper game, but it strikes me as curious timing.

Finally we have some countdown to the dark future details wehere we look at some of the more deadly Melee weapons of the source material of Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk 2020. These aren’t guaranteed to be seen in the game, but it gives us an idea of what might.

In episode 112 we learn about the BigRipp implant, which is a blade of up to fourteen inches in your forearm. Simply flex the right muscles and the sharpness pops out. This is the first evolution of 2077’s mantis blades.

In episode 113 we learn about a vat grown seven inch length of bone, reinforced with polymer also installed into the forearm known as a Bonespike.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Exotics & Exotic Modifications! (Lore!)

Welcome back for some more Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk lore. Today we are talking about Cyberpunk 2020s Exotic mods and modifications, some of the different unique and crazy exotic packages offered in Night City and what kinds of people gravitate towards this zany form of expression.

With sophisticated methods of plastic surgery being available in the world of Night City, and with the Cyberpunk world being mainly about expressing oneself, there are a myriad of appearance options to match every and any specification.

Bodysculpting has led to a new wave of plastic surgery and has created beings known as Exotics popularized by Biotechnica. This involves the grafting and addition of tails, furred skins, hooves, animal like faces, ears and other less than human features to your body.

Exotic modifications include long and short muzzles, mandibles, fangs and claws, scratchers, rippers, tails, furs, scales, exoskeletons, frame alterations, armor weaves and more.

Behaviour chips are personality modifiers. Some rigididly lock a person into a single set of pre programmed behavior whilst others provide strong urges to act a certain way based on a variety of situations.

Finally let’s take a look at some exotic packages. We will start off with minor packages and progress up to some of the more major ones.

First we have the KatNip or Feline package which includes pointer ears, whiskers, skins that mimic fur patterns, cat claws, cat eyed contacts and a voice box modification that allows you to meow.

There is also a mouse modification which uses a a lot of similar upgrades to it’s cat counterpart and is generally less threatening than the other exotics.

Next we have the snake and reptile package. This features modified snake eyes, removal of the outside ears, a long tongue augment, olfactory boosts, and the removal of the nose.
We also have bunny, dwarf, ogre, fishman and elf minor exotic packages.

Next we have the major exotic packages.

First we have the bear package which turns tou into a big cuddly bear. This package includes a major modification in a short muzzle, natural fangs, retractable claws, fur skin change and a frame alteration to make you bigger and taller.

Next we have the superman which essentially turns you into a marvel esque superhero in looks and function. This package features grafted muscle or bone and muscle lace, speed grafts, kerenzikov boosts, pain editors, biomonitos, skin weaves, toxin binders, nanosurgeons, pacesetter 2000 heart, rebreather lungs and more.

Next we have the BigKat package, which turns you into an apex predator like a cheetah, lion or tiger. This features a short muzzle, natural fangs, retractable claws, tail, digitgrade legs (which are essentially animal hind legs) and a fur skinchange.

Next we have the Slightly Buggy package which creates a bug-headed human. This features bug eyes plating the face, antennae, slightly scaly synthskin and custom cybereyes.

The bughouse package is one step up and features mandibles, frame alterations, an exoskeleton and scratchers. Popular add ons include boosted reflexes, enhanced olfactory sense and cyberears.

Next we have some of my personal favorites, the aquaform exotic packages.

First we have the Merman package which features gills, skinchange, a frame alteration which rebuilds your legs into a fish tail, custom contacts and sonar.

Next we have Sharkman which resembles a two legged shark. The sharkman package also allows you to function underwater and has gills, sonar, a skin change, long muzzle, natural fangs, and dorsal fins and is popular with lawyers.

Next we have the Dog packages which feature a short or long muzzle, natural fangs, tail, digitigrade legs, fur skinchanges and have options for enhanced cyberaers, enhanced olfactories, and grafted muscle for pitbull and bull dog variants.

Next we have the Dragon package which changes you into an intimidating lizard man. This features a short muzzle, natural fangs, tail, scale exchange and options include heavy scales, combat tail, enhanced olfactory senses, thermograph eyes and grafted muscle.

Finally we have the Playbeing otherwise known as the “erotic exotic” and have “special extras under the hood”.
This modification package allows you to become master or mistress of the art of physical pleasure with just a few enhancements. The package is usually added onto an existing exotic conversion and features a Mr stud or midnight lady sexual implany, a tactile boost hardwired to the sexual implant, a chipware socket with the maximum lover behavior chip, and a contraceptive implant.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Cyborgs, Full Borgs & Heavy Cyberware! (Lore!)

In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 video we are talking about Cyborgs, Borgs and Full cybernetic body conversions as it relates to the Cyberpunk lore. we’ll be learning about what exactly they are, some of the cybernetics and cyberware options borgs have, some of the packages and standard issue conversion types available as well as some of the deadlier and more useful types.

In 2020 full borgs are very popular, mainly in the workforce as they outsmart, outmuscle and can outwork the general population. Firefighters, consutrction workers and space explorers have started to replace their human bodies with all their limits with full cybernetic bodies. These are referred to as full borgs.

These full body conversions are created by implanting a biological system into a metal endoskeleton with a myomar fiber musculature, cybernetic nervous system, fully cybernetic limbs and body armor. All of this coming together creates a Cyborg or borg.

The process of converting from flesh to completely metal is performed all at once and because the surgery is so extreme, has some big risks including death. The process involves placing the patients brain, a portion of the spinal cord and a few vital organs, often referred to as a biopod into a “robotic” body.

Most functions by internal organs like the lungs and heart are replaced with cybernetic and high efficient technology.

Full conversions are generally very customizable and can swap and interchange cyberlimbs and weapons. Although full borgs have more job opportunities in day to day life due to their proficiency at almost everything, there still is a social stigma attached to them, and conversions are many times dehumanized.

Full borgs are usually created through corporate sponsorships. As you can imagine there are many trade-offs to undergoing this process to become full borg. Corporations offer contracts for full conversions, in an effort to make more money with their increased employee efficiency.

Next let’s look into total-body cyberware. This list covers all the basic componend in making a full borg. A full borg conversion uses all of these items.

In headware we have a neural processor, interface plugs and cyberoptics and audio. In cyberlimgs we have cyberarms, hands, arm armor, cyberlegs and feet as well as leg armor.

Body plating includes a Skull plating called a cowl, as well as a face and torso plate.

In terms of the types of conversions, we have basic conversions all the way up to a military grade full borg.

First we have the basic alpha class conversion from one of the largest manufacturers of cybernetics IEC or international electric cybernetics. This generic design has similar models offered by Raven microcybernetics, Militech and Dynalar Tech.

Next we have the Aquarius by Dynalar technologies, with is a sub-marine full conversion. This conversion is designed for underwater environments and is superior to any other diving system.

Next we have the Copernicus by Cybermatrix incorporated, a Space use full conversion. This is developed to combat the hostile vaccum and radiation of space. For deep space exploration, the Copernicus comes in handy. .

Next we have the Eclipse covert operations full conversion by Militech. In the world of Cyberpunk, cops are constantly tested and at risk. With these increased risks, Militechs security division has introduced this Law enforcement conversion package to those who qualify.

Next we have Dynalar technologies Brimstone fire fighting conversion. Obviously created to fight Night City’s fires this conversion is immune to smoke inhalation, burns, pressure changes and can do the work of an entire squad of firemen. .

Next up we have the Gemini humanoid full conversion from Raven microcybernetics. Although Full body conversions have a ton of advantages Society treats you as a Metal head and a machine. Looking like a robot, leads to people treating you like a robot and in response to this Raven microcybernetics has created this package that simulates the human body in form with all the advantages of a full conversion.

The wingman is a full body conversion used by Figher pilots to withdstand the trying atmospheres and g force associated with flying.

The Samson is an industrial use full conversion with the ability to create the perfect construction worker. This conversion creates a worker who never gets tired, has incredible strength and has the ability to survive almost any accident.

Finally we have the grand daddy of all conversions the Dragoon military use full conversion. With the modern battlefield havin remoted controlled drones, fighter jets, minitanks and combat bikes the Dragoon was developed by IEC to be the deadliest weapon known to man. The dragoon cannot be bought on the open market and even big corporations struggle to get their hands on it.

Cyberpunk 2077 News – Xbox E3 Conference, Release Leak Rumor, Cross Gen!

In Todays Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk news we are discussing Microsofts official announcement of their conference at E3 where Cyberpunk 2077 will likely have a large presence, a Finish release date leak that may hint at Cyberpunk 2077 release dates we’ve discussed in the past for a Cyberpunk 2077 launch, PS5 specs and what that could mean for Cyberpunk 2077 and what a cross generational release could look like, and some countdown to the dark future details from the creators of Cyberpunk 2077’s source material, RTalsorian games.

First up in todays Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk related news we have confirmation of Microsoft’s Xbox conference date at E3. Xbox took to twitter earlier last week to make the announcement and this is where we will most likely see Cyberpunk 2077s showcase. E3 2018 featured a brilliant hacking sequence and a world premiere of the Cyberpunk 2077 trialer, and this year CDPR has promised it’s Largest showcase ever, even bigger than some of their Witcher 3 related E3’s according to their financial summary.

This years e3 xbox briefing takes place on Sunday June 9th at 1pm PT or 4 PM eastern. Not only has Cyberpunk 2077 and CDPR promised their biggest presence at E3 but Microsoft has as well and with the absence of Sony this year, Microsoft really needs to hit it out of the park for the convention. Set your timers because you are not going to want to miss this conference.

Next we have this finish release date leak that was made aware to me by my subscribers in some of my comments. Now this is from a Finish company called Pelimies with the date of October 18th 2019 as a Release date. This does align with other leaks we’ve had in the past from namely Turkish Bilkom + Territory Studio so this does give more weight to these assumptions even though they are to be taken with a grain of salt. Much like both of those leaks, Pelimies has since deleted their “slip up”.

Next up we have the PS5 specs and what that means in terms of the fidelity of a possible port. Again CDPR heavily hinted at Red Engine 4 being able to take the cross generational leap, and that they are keen on doing so, so these details are relevant to these statements. The PS5 offers a GPU capable or ray tracing, a CPU created from AMD’s Ryzen line, a specialized SSD, backwards compatibility and 8K resolution support. This puts it more on part with high end PCS than the previous generation of consoles. Backwards compatibility means that you can likely play your PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 and that if its ported, the PS5 version of 2077 will come with additional perks and obviously a higher fidelity experience. The speciliazed SSD, 8k support and red endgine 4 could be a very potent mix and a new revolution in gaming and how we view video games all together. Im very excited about what this intial next generation news could mean for 2077.

Finally we have some countdown to the dark future details which features melee weapons from the Cyberpunk source material. Many of these have the potential to show up in Cyberpunk 2077 so these are always nice to go through.

In episode 107 we learn about Scratchers. Scratchers are essentially metal or carbo-glass replacements for peoples fingernails and can be used like a razorblade. This cyberweapon is discrete and are design to only slice during crossward movements and are one of the few cyberweapons that are legal and available at any local clinic.

In episode 108 we have Vampires, which are implanted fangs. A full set replacing all teeth is known as a sharkgrin special and vampires are usually decorative unless they are augmented with poison injectors. Rippers are deadlier versions of cracthers and are 3 inch blades which pop out from the fingernails.

In episode 109 we have wolvers, which are essentially wolverines blades. They are a full foot in length and telescope out of the hands when you make a fist. BigKnucks are for brawlers who need some cyberware that will reinforce their fists. These increase the weight and striking power.

Before we go I’d also like to wish a happy belated birthday to Mike Pondsmith, the visionary for the source material of Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk 2013 and 2020.
