Cyberpunk 2077 News – Release Details, CD PROJEKT RED Store & Cyberpunk Red

In todays video we’ll be looking at some more Cyberpunk 2077 News, details and information! Today we have some Big news about a Cyberpunk 2077 release being closer from a new position CD PROJEKT RED has hired in preparation of a Cyberpunk 2077 release, More details and some possible examples of merch we will see from the Cyberpunk 2077 and CD PROJEKT RED merch store, and how quickly it already has an online presence. We’ll also be looking at In-Game illustrator postions for Cyberpunk 2077 Advertisements, some insanely good Cyberpunk 2077 Art, some Cyberpunk Red Details from the man Himself Mike Pondsmith and some Countdown to The Dark Future Gang details.

First up we have the official Cyberpunk 2077 twitter page firing of some art from the community. This is from Sergio Instanto and features a really neat series of cosplay edits that are very well done. I like how the shrapnel and the bullets are reminiscent of the teaser trailer and I love how it’s an action shot versus just a pose. They also gave some props to a tweet referencing this Bladerunner coat, so maybe they know how much we want cyber trench coats in the game. Also this guy is super reminiscent of the ricardo meme, so there’s that.

First up in our Cyberpunk 2077 News we have the hiring of a release manager by CD PROJEKT RED. Now this gives us insight into a release being soon, and potentially a stronger argument for a E3 2019 release date being announced.

According to the actual job description, they are looking for a well-organized and quality focused release manager to support CDPR on their current and upcoming projects and to take part in the coordination of all global product releases.

As a release manager you will cooperate and communicate with all stakeholders from the CD PROJEKT RED team involved in the release and take active part in organizing the whole process. This includes submissions to first party console manufacturers, compliance certification processes and working with partners in the publishing process across platforms.

In the daily responsibilities the Release manager is also responsible for the submition of builds, providing reports on release progress and they also have a part in publishing frequent hotfixes and patches.

We also do have a listing for a Designer position at CD PROJEKT RED and Cyberpunk 2077 for a digital artist to create some of the ads in the world of Night City.

Next up we have some Cyberpunk 2077 and CD PROJEKT RED merch details. Now it seems that we have some more insight into what we could see and we also have this picture from Kaeyi Dream that seems like it’s an early release of merch.

Now I’m loving this design because it brings the world a little bit more alive by making you feel like you are augmented with the mantis blade port poiting down the sleeves. I actually had an idea way back in the day where they could potentially put stats on their merch like +5 cool +10 intelligence and you could customize it, but this is awesome as well.

We also have confirmation that there will be shirts but maybe not shorts from this CD PROJEKT RED tweet. T-shirts are confirmed and the site is actually live and up, but there isn’t a store as of now. I have a feeling this will be coming in the next month as a way to promote at E3 for those attending and what not.

Next up we have some Cyberpunk Red details. Now as you know this is the game being developed by RTAlsorian games who makes the source material of Cyberpunk 2077 and is working with CD PROJEKT RED. Cyberpunk Red will bridge the gap between Talsorians Cyberpunk 2020 and CDPRS 2077 and will play a big part of how the world has changed in those years.

There’s no release date yet, but Mike Pondsmith and the crew have been doing some incredibly deep research. We know they’ve talked to a neuroscientist about CYberware, but now they are purchasing bullet proof backpacks to study them to make their Cyberpunk Red world more authentic.

Finally we have some countdown to the dark future details. This week is all about Gangs, and although we have covered Gangs quick extensively in a couple of videos, there are some new things in these regarding the history of Cyberpunk and Cyberpunk 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Question & Answer! (Part 3!)

Welcome back for part 3 of our Channel and Cyberpunk 2077 related Question and Answer where we dive into Cyberpunk and Cyberpunk 2077 related questions and answers as well as TheNeonArcade and YouTube Channel related questions. Let’s get right into it

LuiMaster131 – Will you be able to kill civilians and commit other crimes? Maybe even a wanted type system where you have to change your clothing and appearance?

Ali Mahfooz – Do you think we’ll get Mike Pondsmith’s amazing voice in the form of a character in future expansions.

JJ Drama – Will we have the ability to change our hairstyle in a salon or some place like in GTA and the sims games? And do you think they’ll do anything to fix our characters hair clipping.

Micheal Frazier – We aint getting this shit till 2021? This better be the goat.

Yash Malik – How many weapons will we be able to carry?

TroniicGaming – This isn’t a question but mad respect for how much you interact with your subs. Keep up the great work, looking forward to more quality content

Antivist – Are you going to E3 – Probably not.

Btrow1134 – Of all the known features, what are you most excited for?

Broker Fox – What tech advances do you expect have taken place between 2020 and 2077, and di you notice anything that stood out as advanced from 2020.

Jrumlin – Do you think we will see rain also in the day time?

Zombie killer101 – Do you think 2077 will have more gang characters like in the 2020 book.

SouthernLocust – If you were teleported into the world of Cyberpunk what type of character would you be and why?

Premier Prendergast – Do you think there will be camos and paintjobs for cybernetics cars and weapons?

Antonio The Great – How does no loading screens mechanism work?

Omega gaming x – In the future do you see yourself connecting with other YouTubers to make content and spread the word?

Staleezy – will there be a movie editor – photo mode might have movie functionality

Jimmy Bish – Given the first person nature do you think a TDM or domination mode will happen?

Blumb tumb – Augmentations are they reversible?

Martin B – Any info about what happens when we die? Classic load last save?

Redd77 do you want interaction animations or fo you think it will be a waste of time.

I want the, Didn’t happen for the jacket but we could for the splint.

X1n0k4 – Can we continue to play the game after the main quests are done?
-Yes you can as per CDPR Community Manager statement.

A gorriaz fan – if you place your v;s personality on a spectrum between lovable rebel and power hungry psycho, where would it be?

I’ll probably be doing multiple playthroughs so likely both, but I tend to like the underdog role which is closer to lovable rebel.

Hello you will I be able to get a cybernetic pp in game? – Even though this is a meme question, there are genital augments in the Cyberpunk lore called Mr studd and Midnight lady so you never know.

Razor Man – Will I romance Dum Dum. Yes

Ret986 I TW3 was amazing byt there is something I don’t like and that’s navigating menus items, levling up skills and managing quests. Will 2077 be more seamless?

I agree I think the menu system in TW3 was clunky. The 2077 menu looks a little more straight forward from what we’ve seen, but I think this is an aspect that is going to change from what we’ve seen, so im hoping they make it a little bit more fluid and accessible.

Luiz Guillherme – Will you be able to send cyber nudes to the leader of Militech while hes on a meeting or date and if yes will it have consequences. – NCART man is looking at nudes / porn

Pratty Vee – Can we see our torso arms and legs if we look down. – Seems like it

ModernHunter – will we be able to go borg – most likely not.

N7 Sapphire Virgo – Due to this games hype and development so far do you think it will affect AAA games coming into the next generation of consoles? I think the Cyberpunk genre will get more popular, but I don’t think many devs right now are going to rise to the occasion.

Senhor Dos Nekp – Everyone likes this game for a different reason whats yours? The environment, the tech and the social commentary and how it is a more realistic depiction of our future.

Sgt Dpression – terminator or Robocop – Terminator

Cyberpunk 2077 – Top 10 Cyberware! (From 2020 Lore!)

in Today’s Cyberpunk 2077 we are talking about the Top 10 Cyberware and Cybernetic Implants and Augmentations that we can see in Cyberpunk 2077 that originate from the Cyberpunk 2020 source material. We have a ton of unique, useful and wacky things on this list, so be sure to stick around to see what augment takes that #1 Spot.

At #10 we have Spike heels, spike hands and ripper hands. These augmentations are exactly how they sound. A spike heel is a 6” spike protruding from the heel that allows the user to dish out some serious kick damage. It can also be used similarly to the mantis blades in that is allows you to climb and anchor yourself to various structures.

A spike hand is a hardened titanium spike which telescopes out of the wrist and through the lower palm. It can also be useful for climbing and assassinations.

Ripper hands are similar to spike hands, but think of it more on par with wolverines blades. The only difference is that they can originate from the wrist and upper hand.

At #9 we Have Pain Editors. Pain editors are coprocessors that plug into a central neural processor. A central processor allows you to interface with computers, databases, machines and vehicles.

Pain editors override the pain receptors of the brain making the subject immune to torture, deprivation and physical assault. Once the editor wears off you feel the entirety of the pain, but in a heated moment can be useful for focus and mental acuity.

At #8 We have the Dartgun Cyberoptic. Again this one is pretty self-explanatory and mix optics with discrete weaponry. This is an optic which carries a poison dart that can be fired from it and can penetrate a variety of different types of armours.

At #7 we have Superchrome. Superchroms is a limb covering that as you can imagine is completely chrome. You can chrome out your legs or arms like Johnny Silverhand, or take a more extreme approach with full chrome like Lizzy Wizzy.

At #6 We have the Biomonitor. The biomonitor is Probably one of the most useful pieces of cyberware in the world of Cyberpunk. It is the favorite of solos and gadget freaks and is mounted just below the skin of the forearm. The biomonitor gives a constant readout of pulse, respiration, brain waves, blood sugar, temperature and cholesterol levels.

At #5 we have the Wearman. The Wearman is most likely a play on the Walkman, which believe it not first came out in 1979. A variant of a radio splice, the WearMan mounts twin vibration speakers on your mastoid bones making your skull into an audio system of concert hall quality. A chip mount is set onto your earlobes and music chips are plugged into them, all fashioned to look like earrings.

At #4 we have techhair, synthskins and light tattoos, some of the brightest pieces of fashionware in the Cyberpunk world. Tech hair are strands that are infused with reactive chemicals. Some are temperature sensitive and change color and shape dependant on the weather conditions. Techhair can be implanted into mohawks, weaves, full hair pieces, beards, moustaches and other, how shall I say, more discrete locations.

At #3 we have Nanosurgeons which are technically a Bioware implant. Nanosurgeons are microscopic machines adapted to surgical repair. They are inside your body and are responsible for repairing damaged tissue, bone, tendons with microstitching.

At #2 we have Reflex chips which are a part of Chipware. Reflex or APTR chips are placed into the previously mentioned neural processor, and is like having instantaneous skills whenever you want them. They range in a variety of physical skills and reflex based skills like firing a weapon or hand to hand combat.

At #1 we have everyones favorite augmentation the Mr Studd sexual implant. Now we don’t know a whole lot about what it actually does but the catchphrase used is “all night every night and shell never know.” now this is probably in regards to your extracurricular stamina, but there’s not too much more of a description for us to glean over. All I know is augmenting your genitalia is quintessential Cyberpunk zaniness. There’s also a female version called the Midnight Lady

Cyberpunk 2077 News – CD PROJEKT RED Store, 2077 Merch & Quest Failure!

In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 news and new details we are talking about the launch of a New CD PROJEKT RED Store and Cyberpunk 2077 Merch, a Gamestar article about game over and fail states and how quests will unfold, some small details about V’s apartment customizability when it comes to music, and some countdown to the dark future details.

First up in this weeks Cyberpunk 2077 news is straight from the developer CD PROJEKT RED. It’s been known for a while now that they have been looking to release a merchandise store in 2019, and even had a brief session of polling the community to see what they would like to see. It seems like they’ve finally make some big moves here with the CD PROJEKT RED merchandise store being released in the coming weeks due to this tweet. In the tweet they state “we’ve been waiting for april fools to be over to share this good news – were opening a CD PROJEKT RED store in the following weeks, keep your eyes open”.

Now some people thought this was a potential launcher to compete with epic launcher and steam launcher, but CD PROEJKT already owns GOG.com and they clarified in a tweet right after that it is infact a merchandise store.

Next up we have some details about how quests will unfold and what the stupidest thing a player could do within a mission or quest. This comes via GameStar magazine. The translation is a little bit shaky here, but as I read it, means that a game over screen is only possible if your character dies. If over the course of a mission you make a rash or poor decision, there will not be a fail state for that particular mission and you will have to live with the decisions you make, however good or bad they may be.

Next we have some details about visting bars and entering shops and some customizability when it comes to V’s apartment. In a response to this tweet asking if we can get custom music insode v’s apartment or house the Cyberpunk twitter quickly shuts this down. In the gameplay demo we were treated to chippin in from Johnny Silverhand via Stanley Media radio, so maybe we can choose the radio station itself, but have no custom or imported music for our home bases. The next question asked is if we can do pointless but immersive actions like sitting in a bar and drinking, or entering various shops and entertainment places. Cyberpunk 2077 responds with that is a cool idea, youll have to wait and see.

Finally we have some countdown to the dark future details where we highlight things from RTalsorians cyberpunk lore series that may be featured in Cyberpunk 2077.

In episode 86 we hear about Susan Forrest a North Californian State Exuctioner. In the dark future criminals sented to death do not come to their demise peacefully and await execution. Most states have a combat ready executioner and in NorthCal, a former Max Tac officer names Susan Forrest is that executioner.

In episode 89 We learn about China Dahl a renegade Photojournalist. China grew up under the finger of the Corporates, and born into a wageslave family. China saw part the brainwashing and saw past the death grip of the corporations.

In Episode 90 we learn about Pixie a Daemon Programmer. A child prodigy in France with hopes of climbing the corporate ladder, she found herself attracted to the thrill of the net. She spent 2 years as a freelance netrunner until she created an assistance program to create Daemons, a low level AI and virus which is useful in infiltrating systems.

Cyberpunk 2077 – The Dangers Of Night City!

In todays Cyberpunk 2077 & Cyberpunk video Today we are talking about All the dangers in the treacherous world of Night City. These are some of the people, places and things you have to be incredibly weary of when you are trying to make your way around the city, because they are each in itself uniquely deadly. From drugs and braindance to megacorporations to issues with cyberware and cyberpsychos you always have to watch your back on the streets of Night City.

First up we have some of the drugs and substances that are peddled on the Night City streets. The futuristic drugs in Night City are all designed to be addictive and are all toxic by nature.

While drugs like synthcoke a futuristic variant of cocaine are present in the world of Night City, this is on the bottom of the ladder when it comes to lethality and detrimental side effects.

Smash is the Cyberpunk equivalent to alcohol and is yellow and foamy, comes in cans, and has many of the same effects as our modern day liquor.

At the top of the spectrum are drugs like Dorph and Black Lace.

Dorph is a painkiller which counteracts the effects of stress, pain and stun or shock effects.

Black lace is a high powered version of dorph, and gives the user invulnerability to pain, adrenal rush, and an increased level of poise and composure under stress.

Braindance is futuristic form of VR entertainment and can also have debilitating effects on your life as well. The addiction to these sensory experiences is so powerful that users forget about reality and spend increasing amounts of time living out their wildest fantasies within a braindance recording.

Next we have Cyberware and issues with augmenting the body using a Ripperdoc. Choosing the right ripperdoc is as important as choosing the right type of cybernetic. Illegal ripperdocs have dodgy morals and business practices and lesser known ripperdocs can botch procedures. Things like cyber-rejection, infection, scarring and operation failure exists in the world of installing Cybernetics and is a risk you might have to take when 2077 rolls around. EMP type damage can also short circuit Cybernetics and EMP damage is one of the 4 types in 2077.

Another big danger involved in Cyberware and cybernetics is the potential to install too much. By installing too much, you start to lose your humanity and are at the risk of becoming Cyberpsychotic. CYberpsychos have little to no control of their being and generally turn into murderous overly augmented individuals.

Next we have The Net and just how dangerous it is to be a netrunner. Netrunning is a way of plugging into a 3D interface using a cybermodem and using your digitally assembled icon to traverse cyberspace. Netrunning is usually meant as a way to expose and divulge government and corporate secrets by breaking into heavily firewalled data fortresses to steal these secrets. The deadly part of the Net is that its chock full of hostile netrunners, demon series programs and cyberassassins present in the Net that patrol their specific online areas.

Flatlines, poison flatlines, krash and the Hound series of programs are all used in anti-system or seek and destroy uses and are meant to eliminate and fry personal cybermodems and decks.
Heftier viruses like Black Ice and Soulkiller programs are much more devastating and can leave your consciousness trapped floating in Cyberspace as your body back in the real world decays.

Next we have the gangs of Night City.

Some of the deadliest gangs in Night City are ones who are on the edge of Cyberpsychosis after augmenting themselves too much.

The bozos, a group of killer clowns, have biosculpted their bodies to look like clowns and murder people for their own entertainment. They enjoy torturing people and playing on their anxieties

The maelstrom are a combat gang reliant on pain suppressors, reflex boosters and street modifications including the Red Eye front Optic mount. .

The braniacs are a thinking mans booster gang and prefer skill-chips over clumsier cybernetics. Some of their members are so advanced that they are essentially walking super computers almost in the grip of cerebreal cyberpsychosis.

The Slaughterhouse is one of the worst if not the worst gangs you can come across in Night City. Specilaizing in any body modifications that are sharp, like rippers and vampires.

Finally we have the Megacorporations. In the world of Cyberpunk 2077 these corporations are the law and they call the shots, no matter what district you are in. They aim to get ahead by any means necessary and routinely use methods of sabotage, bribery, blackmail and assassination to get ahead. Manufacturing, tech, agricorps and media corporations are the most powerful in the world of Cyberpunk. Militech, Arasaka, BioTechnica and Media 54 news are some of the strongest Megacorporations, with the dodgiest morals.

Cyberpunk 2077 News – Cross Generation, E3 Surprise & New CD PROJEKT RED Game!

In Todays Cyberpunk 2077 News video we’ll be looking at a brand new financial keynote from CD PROJEKT RED highlighting new details about Cyberpunk 2077 including special plans for 2077 at E3 2019, Red Engine 4 and Cyberpunk 2077 being a cross generational title, how advanced Cyberpunks development currently is, Multiplayer research and development, release dates, google stadia integration, a new game and IP from CD PROJEKT RED, what it could be and it’s release date. We also have Quest complexity in Cyberpunk 2077 compared to the Witcher 3, the layout of CD PROJEKT REDs plans from 2019 to 2021 and some Countdown to the Dark Future details highlighting Cyberpsychos and Weapons.

Jumping into the News segment we are going to start of with an incredibly informative financial breakdown keynote from CD PROJEKT, ran by CD PROJEKT RED President and CEO Adam Kicinski where we learn a ton of details about Cyberpunk 2077 and other exciting things CD PROJEKT RED is doing. Kicinski starts off by highlightint that Cyberpunk 2077 is their biggest project ever and compares the traction Witcher 3 trailers had versus what Cyberpunk 2077 is having. This graphic shows a pretty stark difference and some insight into how popular the world of Night City and 2077 has become in a short period of time. Kicinski goes on to mention that most of the marketing campaign, obviously, is ahead of us and that it is their largest marketing campaign ever not only in the US but in other regions as well. He also mentions that E3 2018 was the biggest for CD PROJEKT RED and Cyberpunk 2077, and goes on to add how much more important E3 2019 is going to be for Cyberpunk. They have planned a strong showing and surprises, and invites those at the conference to visit them at their E3 booth, which gives more truth to the claims of them having a public open booth showcasing the game. Kicinski also debunks that the previously mentioned surprise at E3 is not a certain popstar most likely referring to the Lady Gaga rumors. Developing and merchandising products for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 along with CDPR responding to a comment about merch also highlights that they want to support their games with a better store for fans to purchase officially licensed Cyberpunk 2077 gear. The Cyberpunk 2077 team is not going to be adding or growing any larger than it is right now, which is 400 people strong, and at the end of the cycle of development will start to be funneled appropriately into an interesting new development. Now we’ve known for a while that CD PROJEKT RED is planning to release 2 Games before 2021, with Cyberpunk 2077 being the first game to release. This not only hints at a 2019 release date for 2077, but also debunks the misinformation I’ve been seeing around that claims 2077 will be out in 2021. Now the original roadmap for this new game is still on schedule and it will not be a port or remake of any sort but instead is heavily hinted at by Kicinski in the conference that it is a new IP. We know this because he says not to have any expectations, to not draw conclusions, that the team is condensed for this game and that it doesn’t have to be comparable to Cyberpunk or The Witcher because it’s smaller in scope. Kicinski assures us that smaller in scope does not mean its any less quality oriented, and that they wont talk much more about it because they don’t want to take away from 2077 marketing hype and momentum.

Now when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077 being cross generational Adam Kicinski said “yes absolutely we already have such a plan, next gen hasn’t been announced but red engine has been developed from scratch for cross gen. If theres an opportunity to launch cross gen we would probably want to do this.” This also makes me wonder if the new game launching in 2021 will be cross generational because the engine is already primed and they seem eager to bridge the gap.

When it comes to when we can expect Cyberpunk 2077, Kicinski mentions that Cyberpunk 2077 is very advanced. Kicinski mentions that they are not quite happy yet with the project so that definitely means more polishing and perfecting.

Research and Development has already seen 65 million Zloty spent through 2018 with 178 million more in progress. I’m going to assume a big chunk of that will help with Cyberpunks online element as it’s still in R&D.

Next up we have some details about the complexity of Cyberpunk 2077 quests versus The Witcher 3. In a podcast with German magazine Gamestar Quest designer Philipp Weber and Level-Designer Miles Tost made mention that quests will be 3-5x more complex than The Witcher 3’s and that there was a quest that forced players to leave their weapons behind, but added in an option for the players to vocalize their insistence on keeping them.

Finally we have a couple Countdown to The Dark future episode which highlight the world of the Cyberpunk lore and what we might see in 2077 when it launches.

Cyberpunk 2077 VS The Witcher 3 – Can Cyberpunk Dethrone TW3?

In Todays Cyberpunk 2077 video we are talking about Cyberpunk 2077 VS The Witcher 3, If Cyberpunk 2077 can dethrone the most awarded game of all time in the witcher 3, what it needs to do to be a better game, and why the witcher 3 is so critically acclaimed.

It’s no doubt at all that The Witcher 3 was the pinnacle of CD PROJEKT REDs creations, and in earyl 2016 surpassed the Last of Us as the most awarded game of all time with over 251 game of the year awards.

The Witcher 3 is a game which respected the time you invested into it. The sheer amount of quests and side quests in itself would have been good, but tack on the fact that each quest was each it’s own nuianced adventure offering a range of variety in how to solve them and you get a living breathing world which always felt in flux. In CD PROJEKT RED’s first iterations of designing their quests, there were a series of trigger systems in place which essentially opened up tunneling paths of options when it came to solving quests. Feelining like this was not true to the nature of how an open world should feel, CD PROJEKT RED created a dizzying array of ways to initially trigger quests and how they unfold as you progress through it.

Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtably going to offer more ways to trigger quests and sidequests for a multitiude of reasons. Your character is a blank slate which you create to your liking. NPC reactivity will be based on how you look and dress. This offers differeing dialogue options and ways to open up quests. We also have male and female characters who will be treated differently by many NPCS in our travels. A fluid class system means that quests will unfold vastly differently not even based on how we explore the quest, but how our niched skills helps us to explore the environment.

Witcher 3’s Open World Environment is lush, vast, unique and painstakingly detailed. From the shacks of white orchard to the frigid seas of Skellige, to the bustle of Novigrad, the world of the Witcher is arguably it’s strongest element. This is something that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a hard time recreating, based off the nature of the world alone. Whilst Cyberpunk 2077 will have a multitiude of megabuildings, alleys, skyscrapers and streets, the feeling of discovery and exploration atleast in terms of enemies is something that will be harder for CD PROJEKT RED to make feel fresh through the entirety of the single player.

The Witcher 3’s Gameplay was probably one of its more criticized components. Compared to it’s other elements it was passable, and I feel like everyone saw combat in The Witcher 3 differently. I’ve stated in a previous video that I think the witcher 3’s combat is good, but it could have been better. Quen seemed vastly superior to all the other abilities which was really a bummer in my opinion as it meant you had all this choice but there was no reason to use any of the other abilities except in niche situations or if you fully upgraded them. Combat in Cyberpunk 2077 from what we’ve seen did seem a little more interesting, but this is where Cyberpunk 2077 can easily beat The Witcher 3 in the long run. Yes, they are completely different gameplay mechanics involved and you can’t really compare a 3rd person hack and slash styled game to a first person shooter with augmentations and cyberware, but you can compare it on a well-designed basis. In 2077, Cyberware, the diversity in fluid class options, perks, weapon mods, alternate firing modes, combat drugs and a big arsenal of weaponry will allow you to play in many different styles and everyone will have their own unique preferences.

Story Telling. The stories in Witcher 3, mainly offered in side-quests are layered in deep character development and well written dialogue. People are still talking about the Bloody Baron quest-line years later, which was probably the side-quest in The Witcher 3 which gets the most notoriety when it comes to flawless execution and emotional impact. Voice acting to carry the weight of the witchers stories was also very well done, although It looks like 2077s will feature a more diverse cast of Voice acting, and from what we’ve heard so far is phenomenal. This is where I feel 2077 and The Witcher 3 could most likely be neck and neck. Both of these games have rich source material to work with, and are each at the top of their respective genres. I can see Cyberpunk 2077 having more interesting stories overall as we haven’t seen a great Cyberpunk themed game address philosophy, social commentary and transhumanism in the same ways as 2077 seems to want to do.

If 2077 can do all of this, I think there’s a very real possibility that 2077 can dethrone the Witcher 3 for most awarded game of all time.

Cyberpunk 2077 News – Gamescom, Weapon Details & Lady Gaga!

In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 news video we’ll be detailing Lady Gaga and celebrity presence in 2077, why it’s not what you think it is, Weapon optics and attachments, A New Cyberpunk 2077 tweet, CD PROJEKT RED’s presence at upcoming Gamescom, some Countdown to the Dark Future facts.

First on today’s news segment we have Cyberpunk 2077 weapon customization details. We now have confirmation via twitter that weapon optics will be customizable. This is great news for those of us who prefer certain styles of crosshairs and optics when it comes to shooters. I personally prefer this v shaped red dot on my sights, or some of the more simple crosshairs, but I know there are holographic loyalists, traditional red dot fanatics, and even people who prefer ironsights, so it should be interesting to see how this will make the gunplay more dynamic and interesting. In a past news episode we mentioned how in a French interview with Maciej Pietras that you might be able to swap the hand you hold your weapons in as well, which just adds to this customizability potential.

Next we have the confirmation that CD PROJEKT RED will be at Gamescom 2019 running from August 20th to 24th. For those thinking CDPR would actually release the game during or after E3 this kind of puts a stake in your theories as they will presumably be sharing more details on Cyberpunk 2077, much like how they did in 2018. CD PROJEKT is listed as one of the companies attending Gamescom, so hopefully after E3 we will get some more amazing details on Cyberpunk 2077.

Next in Cyberpunk 2077 news we have rumors of Lady Gaga being associated with some work for CD PROJEKT RED on Cyberpunk 2077. Way back we talked about celebrity possibilities in Cyberpunk 2077, when it was mentioned by a reddit user that Kanye West was following Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitter, and this intriguing tweet that Cyberpunk 2077 sent to Lady Gaga. It does seem that according to French publication ActuGaming, Lady Gaga was spotted in the CD PROJEKT RED studio, and was rumored to be doing motion capture work. I can see her doing some voice acting as well, which to be honest wouldn’t be a half bad thing because it gives Cyberpunk 2077 more notoriety and she might do a certain role in the game justice. It’s also been speculated that her character could be Lizzy Wizzy, a popular musical celebrity in Night City, but we currently aren’t sure. Now to me, If I hear an NPC in the game or even if its Lizzy Wizzy, ill probably recognize Gaga’s voice and associate that character with her and it will kind of strip me out of the experience.

Next we have a tweet from the Cyberpunk 2077 twitter, which is as vague as it is curious. Now they tweeted this gif of a robot popping some popcorn and cracking a cold one. Obviously this robot is readying himself to be enjoying some sort of entertainment. Now is this an analogy for what we will be doing shortly? Is it in response to the whole Lady Gaga rumors where they are sitting back and watching us implode with speculation and guessing? Are they just really savage trolls? Who knows, but something tells me we should sit back and get ready for some incoming fresh content. First person to comment that im grasping on this one gets a virtual high five because I agree.

Next we have some Details via Countdown to the Dark future about the cyberpunk lore. In episode 73 we learn that most Americans in the world of 2020, the source material for 2077 eat kibble, which are dry grainy nuggets with vitamins and a small amount of protein. It sounds like something a dog or a cat would eat, and we can see Kibble in V’s apartment in the Gameplay demo. Kibble comes in a variety of flavours and textures and makes up 70% of the average American Diet.

SCOP is also part of the American diet and is vat grown protein which mimics a variety of different foods. SCOP is more expensive than Kibble.

In episode 79 we learn about fire arm companies BudgetArms and Dai Lung. We see BudgetArms in the gameplay demo, makes the tech shotgun and both companies make firearms that are affordable. The C-13 from BudgetArms is half as much as the Federated Arms X-22, and we use a federated arms vindicator machine pistol in the demo. Maybe this means V isn’t as poor as the average Cyberpunk. Dai Lung Cybermag 15 is even cheaper than the C-13 whilst still rivalling the X-22.

Cyberpunk 2077 – NPC Character Classes (Explained!)

In Today’s Cyberpunk 2077 NPC Character Classes Explained Video we are talking about all the classes and archetypes of characters we can find in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 & Night City. We have already covered the main classes we personally will get to utilize in the Solo, netrunner and techie in a prior video, so we will go through all the Nomad, Fixer, Corporate, Media, Rockerboy and Cop Classes.

First we have Nomads. If you’ve ever seen a Mad Max movie, then Nomads will look familiar to you. Nomads are classified as Road Warriors and gypsys who are forced to roam the highways after being ousted from their places of living by the Megacorporations. Nomads are essentially groups of these now homeless outcasts banding together with their fleets of RV’s, motorbikes and rusting cars. Nomads travel in packs scouring the outskirts of Night City for spare parts, and odds and ends. Nomad packs generally have members with a wide variety of skills including mechanics, med techs and teachers.

Scouts are the visibile leaders of Nomads, who drive the swiftest vehicles and are clad in leather embossed armours. Scouts protect convoys from attacks, and decide on where the pack will settle for the night.

Fixers according to Cyberpunk lore are the deal makers, smugglers, organizers and information brokers. They are essentially the crimelords of the Cyberpunk world. Using skills acquired in pursuing a corporate job, but wanting to do things your own way, fixers put together jobs for Cyberpunks under the radar of the Megacorporations they once used to want to work for. Moving illegal weapons across the border, stealing and reselling supplies, hiring out a Nomad pack or even acting on behalf of high profile Solos and Netrunners, Fixers are always thinking 2 steps ahead.

Corporates are slick business raiders that have bought into the corporate dream, hook line and sinker. In Night City you are in a ruthless and bloody struggle to climb the ranks of the Megacorporations. You’ll kill those ahead of you and silence those nipping at your heels. Sobatoage, bribery, black-mail, and threats of assassinations are a daily occurrence for a young fresh faced corporate.

Cops are the street muscle in Night City. Cops are constantly in danger due to new gangs, new drugs and new weapons. Cops are equipped to the T in Night City and are still largely outgunned in relation to the cyber-gangs sporting super speed, reflexes and the latest street tech. Not only this but Megacorp funded gangs, who are hired to carry out and enforce corporate policies and dodgy activities also pose a huge threat to cops. Cops patrolling the concrete jungle have to keep a keen eye and ear to the environment surrounding them. Around every turn there is danger.

Corporate cops conversely live a relatively stable life. Equipped with all the latest tech, combat armor, Trauma Team Backup and AV-4 Assasult vehicles, messing with them is generally not favorable. They patrol only the areas licensed to them whether that means clean office sectors, or combat zones.

PsychoSquads are one of the higgest branchest of law enforcement in Night City. They have to go toe to toe with CYberpsychos who can walk through bullet fire without feeling a thing.

Medias are the frontline journalists in Cyberpunk. They will go to any means to get the truth, and stop those in positions of power who are manipulating it for their own personal gain. Utlizing nothing more than a videocamera and a small crew, Medias are seen by millions worldwide on TV and deliver stories that the Megacorporations don’t want you to hear.

Medias generally have a variety of Netrunners working for them to uncover corporate web secrets. Medias are always on the clock just incase something truly big breaks.

Finally we have Rockerboys, rebellious characters who use music and performances to revolt and fight against authority. These street poets take their message to the streets in the form of music, poetry and performances to speak their mind and incite a revolution against the Megacorps. As a rockerboy you have the power to get people to rise up through your own creativity, and expose corruption and bring down powerful dictators through your lyrics and inspirational speeches.
